AMANDA KRMPOTIC
MODERN
Originally from Kitchener-Waterloo, Amanda started dancing when she was 6 years old giving her the opportunity to explore many different styles including ballet (RAD), modern (Graham), jazz (ADAPT), and lyrical. Since continuing to dance through her university years, Amanda has also taken workshops and courses in hip hop, contemporary, African, and heels dance styles. Having graduated from a specialized high school program with a dance major certification and participating in two Dance and the Child International conferences (in Taipei and Copenhagen) as a student, Amanda has been exposed to many philosophies of movement and styles of choreography over the years.
Amanda has been teaching dance since 2017 and has enjoyed sharing her passion for dance and creativity with her students of all ages and abilities! In addition, Amanda has worked with other athletes, continuing to build her knowledge of skill fundamentals, most notably as a coach and choreographer for a gymnastics club. Currently, she is on track to graduate with her Masters of Teaching from OISE in 2023 and is excited to continue her dance journey here at CDC!
