What You’ll Do

  • Greet & Assist: Welcome students, parents, and visitors, provide information about classes, schedules, and studio policies and offer guidance on learning paths and program options.

  • Customer Support & Sales: Handle phone and email inquiries professionally, assist with client management, and actively promote studio offerings.

  • Registrations & Payments: Support class enrollments, process payments accurately, and guide students in choosing the best programs for their goals.

  • Studio Organization: Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and studio space to ensure a welcoming environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in administration, sales, customer service, client management, or advisory roles.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.

  • Reliable, responsible, and methodical approach to work.

  • Ability to stay organized and handle a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and scheduling software.

  • Enthusiasm for dance and the arts!



HIRING: SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST

Calling all storytellers, trend-spotters, and community builders. 

At City Dance Corps, you will help share the energy of our classes, the quality dance education, and the magic of our community with the GTA. You will create content that reflects our welcoming and inspiring studio, from fun social trends to moments that celebrate our students and instructors.

We are looking for a Social Media Strategist who enjoys both creativity and strategy, knows how to connect with audiences online, and is excited to help our community grow and connect.

What You Will Do

Create & Curate

  • Plan, shoot, and edit photo, video, and graphic content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Write captions, research hashtags, and schedule posts using Airtable

  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule:

    • Instagram: 1–2+ posts daily

    • Facebook: 1 post daily

    • TikTok: every other day

    • YouTube: monthly or bi-monthly

  • Repurpose content across platforms and formats to maximize reach

Strategize & Grow

  • Build and execute a year-round content calendar that includes promotions, events, and community stories

  • Manage and optimize paid Meta ad campaigns

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance to improve results

  • Conduct social listening to monitor conversations, track brand mentions, and find opportunities to engage

  • Stay up to date with social trends, dance and lifestyle content, and local community topics

Engage & Connect

  • Respond to comments, messages, and DMs with warmth and professionalism

  • Coordinate contests, giveaways, and occasional influencer or local partnership collaborations

  • Create interactive content such as polls, challenges, or Q&A sessions to boost engagement

Collaborate & Innovate

  • Work with the Marketing Manager and the Creative Director on quarterly strategy, campaign planning, and brand oversight

  • Keep all content aligned with our brand voice: inspiring, playful, professional, and community-oriented

  • Develop and pitch creative ideas for campaigns, content series, and community engagement

  • Experiment with new formats like short-form video trends, motion graphics, or live-streamed classes

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand across multiple platforms

  • Strong skills in photography, videography, graphic design, and copywriting

  • Proficiency with Canva; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus

  • Proven experience running paid Meta ad campaigns

  • Excellent writing skills with a strong sense of brand voice

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once

  • Passion for community building, creativity, and connecting with audiences

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience managing influencer relationships

  • Background in arts, dance, or lifestyle content creation

  • Experience with live streaming or YouTube SEO

WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Here's what your responsibilities will include:

  1. Welcoming and assisting new students

  2. Providing information on our programs, packages, and prices

  3. Supporting students with purchases and merchandise

  4. Engaging in administrative work

  5. Assisting with event setup

  6. Regular cleaning duties, including studio maintenance

  7. Stocking supplies and maintaining overall cleanliness

  8. Arriving on time and fulfilling responsibilities professionally

  9. Maintaining a positive attitude and respecting staff and fellow participants

  10. Representing City Dance Corps with professionalism

  11. Attending monthly in-person or virtual meetings

The Work Exchange Program at City Dance Corps plays a pivotal role in creating the exceptional dance atmosphere at City Dance Corps. By joining our vibrant community and contributing your positive energy, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary dance classes as a token of our appreciation!

ABOUT THE WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The City Dance Corps Work Exchange program entails a fixed weekly shift, in return for a predetermined number of complimentary dance classes each week or $17.25 account credit per hour. To participate in this program, we request a minimum commitment of three months.
