HIRING: MARKETING MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager at City Dance Corps leads the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives that drive enrollment, retention, brand awareness, and revenue growth across City Dance Corps' programs and services. Working closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams, this role oversees customer acquisition and retention strategies, digital marketing, website management, partnerships, campaign development, and customer engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, highly organized, and excited to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that support enrollment, retention, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
Plan and manage promotions, launches, events, performances, and seasonal registration campaigns.
Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and performance insights to identify growth opportunities.
Support the development of promotional pricing strategies, discounts, offers, and incentive structures that support business goals.
Chair weekly marketing meetings, including agenda preparation and meeting minutes.
Collaborate with administrative, instructional, and customer service teams to support organizational goals. Provide guidance to marketing support staff as required.
Customer Engagement & Digital Marketing
Manage customer acquisition, retention, and re-engagement initiatives through email, SMS, paid advertising, partnerships, referral programs, and marketing automations.
Oversee CRM strategy, audience segmentation, customer journeys, and loyalty/rewards programs.
Manage website content and digital marketing channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, email marketing, social media, and emerging platforms.
Maintain Squarespace and Shopify websites, ensuring content, promotions, and programming information remain current and accurate.
Content, Branding & Partnerships
Develop marketing content and promotional materials across digital and print channels.
Create visual assets, campaign messaging, and storytelling initiatives that strengthen audience engagement.
Ensure consistency of brand voice and visual identity across all customer touch-points.
Lead partnerships, sponsorships, influencer collaborations, community events, and public-facing initiatives.
Analytics & Data Management
Track campaign performance and key marketing metrics.
Analyze customer, content, campaign, and revenue data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Minimum four (4) years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and customer lifecycle marketing.
Strong project management, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of marketing analytics, content performance metrics, and customer engagement reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of projects.
Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
Preferred
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience in arts, education, recreation, fitness, or community-based organizations.
Experience managing paid digital advertising and lead generation campaigns.
Technical Skills & Experience with: Google Ads and Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Squarespace and Shopify (coding in HTML a plus), MailerLite (or email-specific CRM tools), WellnessLiving, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, Zapier, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
Working Conditions
Hybrid work environment with regular in-office attendance.
Occasional evening and weekend work required for events, launches, and organizational activities.
Occasional travel between Oakville and Toronto studio locations and community event sites.
Extended periods of computer-based work and digital communication.

WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Here's what your responsibilities will include:-Welcoming and assisting new students
-Providing information on our programs, packages, and prices
-Supporting students with purchases and merchandise
-Engaging in administrative work
-Assisting with event setup
-Regular cleaning duties, including studio maintenance
-Stocking supplies and maintaining overall cleanliness
-Arriving on time and fulfilling responsibilities professionally
-Maintaining a positive attitude and respecting staff and fellow participants
-Representing City Dance Corps with professionalism

ABOUT THE WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM The City Dance Corps Work Exchange program entails a fixed weekly shift, in return for a predetermined number of complimentary dance classes each week or $17.25 account credit per hour. To participate in this program, we request a minimum commitment of three months.
