Official Terms and Conditions

1. Sponsor
The City Dance Corps 24th Annual Showcase Instagram Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by City Dance Corps (“CDC”), with locations in Toronto and Oakville, Ontario. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “CDC” refers to City Dance Corps.

2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of CDC are not eligible to enter.

3. Contest Period
The Contest begins upon posting and ends at May 13, 2026 at 11:59PM (the “Contest Deadline”). Entries received after this time will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter
No purchase necessary. To enter:

  • Follow CDC on both company Instagram accounts:

    • @citydancecorps

    • @citydancelatin

  • Tag one (1) friend in the comments of the official contest post

Each tagged comment counts as one (1) entry. Entrants may submit multiple entries by tagging different individuals in separate comments, up to 5 entries.

Entries must be publicly viewable and comply with Instagram rules.

5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive:

  • Two (2) General Admission tickets to the City Dance Corps 24th Annual Showcase

Event details for City Dance Corps 24th Annual Showcase:

  • Date: May 24, 2026

  • Time: 6:00 PM

  • Location: The Great Hall, 1087 Queen St W, Toronto, ON

Prize conditions:

  • Valid only for the City Dance Corps 24th Annual Showcase

  • No cash value, non-transferable, and non-refundable

  • Any additional expenses (including transportation) are the responsibility of the winner

6. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on or about May 14, 2026.

The selected entrant will be contacted via Instagram direct message from @citydancecorps. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

  • Respond within 48 hours of notification

  • Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, as required by Ontario law

CDC may request proof of identity and/or account ownership before awarding the prize.

If the selected entrant does not respond in time or fails to meet the requirements, another entrant may be selected.

7. Content and Conduct
By entering, participants agree that:

  • They are using their own authentic Instagram account

  • Their participation complies with all applicable laws and platform guidelines

CDC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant deemed to be in violation of these Terms.

8. License and Use
By entering, participants grant CDC (City Dance Corps) permission to repost or share their username and/or entry for promotional purposes, without further compensation.

9. General Conditions
CDC (City Dance Corps) reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if necessary.

CDC is not responsible for:

  • Lost, late, or misdirected entries

  • Technical issues related to Instagram

  • Any injury or damage resulting from participation in the Contest or use of the prize

10. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used solely for administering the Contest in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

11. Platform Disclaimer
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

12. Agreement to Terms
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all decisions of CDC (City Dance Corps), which are final.

13. Fraud, Multiple Accounts, and Fair Play
CDC (City Dance Corps) reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • Uses multiple or fake accounts to gain additional entries

  • Engages in spam tagging or automated entries

  • Attempts to manipulate or disrupt the Contest in any way

Entries must be submitted by a single individual using their own authentic account. Any attempt to circumvent the rules may result in disqualification at CDC’s sole discretion.
