City Dance Corps International Dance Day TikTok Contest (2026)
Official Terms and Conditions
1. Sponsor
The City Dance Corps International Dance Day TikTok Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by City Dance Corps (“CDC”), with locations in Toronto and Oakville, Ontario. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “CDC” refers to City Dance Corps.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of CDC are not eligible to enter.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins upon posting and ends at 11:59 PM EST on April 29, 2026 (the “Contest Deadline”). Entries received after this time will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
No purchase necessary. To enter:
Follow CDC on:
TikTok: @city.dance.corps
Instagram: @citydancecorps
Post a video of yourself completing the dance challenge on TikTok and tag @city.dance.corps on TikTok
Bonus Entries:
Share your entry on Instagram Reels and tag @citydancecorps on Instagram (+1 entry)
Tag a friend in the comments of our TikTok contest post on the CDC TikTok (@city.dance.corps) account (+1 entry per friend, reasonable limits apply)
Entries must be publicly viewable and comply with all platform rules. Any posts made on private accounts will not be eligible for Contest entry.
5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive:
One (1) $100 CAD City Dance Corps gift card
Gift card conditions:
Valid for City Dance Corps classes and services at both Toronto and Oakville locations
Not valid toward merchandise purchases
Non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable or exchangeable for cash
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on or about April 30, 2026.
The selected entrant will be contacted via TikTok direct message from one of the official CDC accounts (@city.dance.corps TikTok or @citydancecorps Instagram). To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
Respond within 48 hours of notification
Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, as required by Ontario law
CDC may request proof of identity and/or account ownership before awarding the prize.
If the selected entrant does not respond in time or fails to meet the requirements, another entrant may be selected.
7. Content Requirements
By entering, participants confirm that:
They are the original creator of the submitted content
Their content does not infringe on any third-party rights
Their content is appropriate, non-offensive, and complies with all applicable laws and platform guidelines
CDC reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or non-compliant.
8. License and Use of Entries
By entering the Contest, participants grant CDC (City Dance Corps) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, repost, and share submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes, without further compensation or notice.
9. General Conditions
CDC (City Dance Corps) reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest for any reason.
CDC is not responsible for:
Lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries
Technical issues related to social media platforms
Any injury or damage resulting from participation in the Contest or use of the prize
10. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11. Platform Disclaimer
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok or Instagram. Participants release TikTok and Instagram from any and all liability related to this Contest.
12. Agreement to Terms
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all decisions of CDC (City Dance Corps).
13. Fraud, Multiple Accounts, and Fair Play
CDC (City Dance Corps) reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
Uses multiple social media accounts to obtain additional entries beyond what is permitted
Submits duplicate, automated, or bot or AI-generated entries
Engages in any activity intended to manipulate, unfairly increase, or disrupt the entry process or outcome of the Contest
Entries must be submitted by a single individual using their own authentic social media account(s). Any attempt to circumvent the rules, including but not limited to the use of fake accounts, aliases, or coordinated entry schemes, may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of CDC.
CDC further reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
