Join us with for this one-off chance to learn and perform a new choreography from guest choreographer Lisa LaTouche.   This new work will be featured in our faculty showcase on November 25, 2017. 

For Tap dancers intermediate level and higher.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 27. 8pm - 10pm
SATURDAY OCTOBER 28. 5pm - 7pm.

$150.00 (+hst)

Limited space available. All dancers must be available for tech rehearsal between 3pm - 10pm on Friday November 24, 2017 and for two peformances on Saturday November 25, 2017, 2pm and 8pm.  There will be 3 additional rehearsal times on Sunday Nov 5, 12, 19 - 5pm - 6pm. There are no refunds for this performance intensive.


Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Lisa’s recent credit includes original cast member of SHUFFLE ALONG  on Broadway choreographed by Savion Glover and directed by George C. Wolfe.  With the cast she was appeared at the 70th annual TONY Awards and Maya & Marty on NBC and became recipient of the Fred Astaire award for “Outstanding Ensemble in a Broadway show” and the A.C.C.A. Actor’s Equity Award for “Outstanding Broadway Chorus”.  She appears as a principal dancer in an episode of Amazon's Original TV series Z- The Beginning of Everything starring Christina Ricci, with choreography by John Carrafa.  Previous highlights have also included touring with Savion Glover productions in STEPZ, and also performing in both New York's Off-Broadway and the North American touring casts of STOMP.   She was also in the original ensemble of Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards "Sophisticated Ladies" where they performed weekly at The Cotton Club in Harlem and also a member of Jason Samuel Smith's company A.C.G.I.  Lisa has performed, choreographed and taught world wide on various independent projects.  Her work has been seen on such stages as Jazz at Lincoln Center and was also faculty member of the School of Jacob's pillow under the direction of her mentor Dianne Walker.    She appears as guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in New York City and loves sharing her passion within eager up and coming professionals of all ages.  She is currently continuing her studies in acting Susan Batson Studios, and works with vocal coaches Shelton Becton and Susan Eichborn Young.  She believes whole heartedly that we are all to trust and follow our inspirations and welcome a journey of unlimited opportunities.
