Soca / Dancehall
Kay-Ann Ward is a professional choreographer, dance instructor and performer. She is experienced in Hip-Hop, Dancehall, soca and sensual movements. She has worked with some of the industry's top choreographers as well as artists including Flo-Rida, Beenie Man, Yellow Man, Jully Black and Devine Brown to name a few.
Kay-Ann has created live performances for Harbourfront Centre, Luminato Festival, Desi Festival and Toronto's choreographers Ball. She created The Alter Ego cabaret show as well as the Night of Essence dance showcase.
Kay-Ann is the creator of Caribbean Movements which offers 3 signature dance classes: Dancehall Heat, Socalicious and Wickedest Wine. Each class offers something different. She is also the co-founder of UnRuly Gyal, a Caribbean Dance Lifestyle brand geared towards women.
Kay-Anns teaching style is one that encourages her students and participants to learn, let go and have fun. She ensures that the environment is one that is safe and supportive to everyone that attends her classes and workshops. She makes sure that everyone leaves feeling good and accomplished, even though they are sweating and will feel the burn the next day.
